FISHING
There are 4 lakes to choose from on site. Pedalo lake is the largest measuring 5.5 acres. The lake is an old gravel pit, originally stocked with fish around 20 years ago.
Pedalo lake is famous for it's impressive head of specimen carp to a massive 54lbs, along with many different 30's & 40's. Tench, pike, perch, roach & rudd reside in the lake. The lake is around 5-6ft deep throughout, then shallows up towards the clubhouse. Fishing is permitted from 8am til 10pm with no night fishing allowed.
At Heron 33, we have a large carp mat, landing net and sling available for our guests to use, so you can leave the smelly kit at home!
There is also some great fishing to be had on Mallard Lakes. We have a cabin situated between both Mallard Lakes, with carp to 30lbs, Tench to 10lbs and some great pleasure angling available.
There are friendly bailiffs on hand to offer advice and also a tackle shop over the road to stock up on those essentials.
